Through the analysis of Morag’s self-seeking course in the hero of the Canadian writer Margaret Lawrence’s Soothsayers, Moragh reveals the theme of the work: knowing oneself is the most difficult and unavoidable life mission, history and heritage in life Memories are of extraordinary significance to the individual’s self-construction, and accepting the past is the real way to seek for oneself. This view provides an answer to life’s questions from the former heroines in Manavaca’s series of novels, which are thus regarded as the finale of the Manavaca series.
