在2006年香港苏富比秋季拍卖会上,一尊“明永乐鎏金铜释迦牟尼坐像”(图1)以1.16亿港元的天价,打破了历年来中国工艺品拍卖的世界纪录。受此刺激,国内佛造像拍卖活动成交活跃,价格大幅刷新,尤其是明永乐、宣德两朝的宫廷佛造像,更是众多藏家追捧的对象,价格坚挺,一路上扬。在利益的驱使下,大量伪品充斥市场,让藏家真假莫辨。
At the Sotheby’s Hong Kong Autumn Auction in 2006, a world record of Chinese handicraft auctions over the years was smashed at a high price of HK $ 116 million for a picture of “Shakespeare and Sakyamuni” (Figure 1). As a result of this stimulation, the auctions of domestic Buddha statues were actively traded and the prices were significantly refreshed. In particular, the statues of the court Buddha in Ming Yongle and Xuande dynasties were the objects sought after by many collectors. The price was firm and all the way up. Driven by the interests of a large number of counterfeit flooding the market, so that collectors can not distinguish true and false.
