对儿童的早期教育已是当前国内外引人注目的新课题。本刊曾陆续发表了一些文章,介绍国外开展早期教育的情况。之后,接到不少来信来稿,对早期教育提出各种看法和问题,也写来不少取得早期教育很好效果的经验。我们从本期起开辟《早期教育探索》一栏,将陆续选登一些这方面的文章,希望家长、儿童教育工作者及生理学、心理学、人才学、遗传学等科学工作者,广泛交流情况和经验。《在游戏中教儿童学科学》一文作者刘立本,系西安冶金建筑学院物理系副教授。他总结了教育外孙刘翌的经验。全文写了如何教外孙学物理、数学、天文、气象、文学、音乐、绘画、外语等方面的方法,语言生动,办法具体。本期发表的是该文的前言部分,其余部分准备分期陆续刊登。同时,我们也发表另外几篇对早期教育提出问题的文章,以便各家之言展开争鸣,尽快为早期教育探索出一条路子。
