提出了长周期光纤光栅的一种新的制作方法,通过对光纤周期性刻槽并加热位伸引入纤芯形变,而使得纤芯折射率产生周期性变化。文中给出实验结果,并对其基本原理进行理论分析。这种长周期光纤光栅可应用于需要宽阻带滤波器的波分复用系统
A new fabrication method of long-period fiber grating is proposed. The fiber core periodically changes its refractive index by periodically etching the fiber and heating the fiber to distort the fiber. The experimental results are given in this paper and the theoretical analysis of its basic principles is made. Such long-period fiber gratings can be used in wavelength division multiplexing systems that require wide stop-band filters
