软仁石榴又称软籽石榴,是峄县石榴中的稀有品种。1956年山东农学院在石榴资源调查时发现并命名。1987、1988年曾连续两年作为名特优产品进京,在展销中名列榜首。峄县人们称它为石榴中的珍品,并列为市重点开发课题。 软仁石榴果实中等,单果重350—500克,最大果重810克,果面油光带亮,黄绿色、阳面粉红色,极为鲜艳。平均每果有籽270个,粉红色,晶莹透亮,排列紧密,醇香甘甜,含糖量10—13％, Soft kernel pomegranate, also known as soft-seeded pomegranate, is a rare species in Pixian pomegranate.
