物源分析、碎屑岩成分特征和区域构造综合对比表明毛坪变质沉积岩系的主体属古生代秦岭古岛弧弧前沉积。该岩系位处秦岭商丹带东部,是南、北秦岭结合时首先发生点接触/碰撞的部位。南、北秦岭的结合由石炭纪早期的点接触/局部碰撞到中三叠世末最终全面碰撞造山的完成,其间经历了晚海西期的长期板缘构造演化。毛坪地区变形序列和构造发展反映出这一独特的演化进程,为研究南、北秦岭以及华北与扬子板块的结合时代和过程提供了重要信息。
The analysis of provenance, composition of clastic rocks and regional tectonic comparisons show that the main body of the Maoping Metamorphic Sedimentary Rock Series belongs to the Precambrian sediments of Paleozoic ancient islands in Qinling Mountains. Located in the east of Qinling Shangdan belt, this rock system is the site where point contact / collision first occurs when the south and north Qinling are combined. The combination of South and North Qinling from the early Carboniferous point contact / local collision to the completion of the final full collision orogeny at the end of the Middle Triassic experienced a long-term plate margin tectonic evolution during the Late Hercynian. The deformation sequence and tectonic development in Maoping area reflect this unique evolutionary process and provide important information for studying the integration times and processes of the South and North Qinling Mountains and the North China and Yangtze plates.
