In the 1870s, China and Japan successively built railways. However, due to the differences in national conditions and policies between the two countries, the development of railroads is also quite different. In Japan, the railways have become the fastest-growing industries with rational layout, advanced management and high scientific and technological content. However, the development of China’s railways is slow and chaotic, seriously hampering the social and economic development.
