柑桔的常规栽培一般要在种后4～5年才能投产。团石区农工商柑桔速生密植试验园种后第二年亩产达到1194.6斤。 团石区农工商柑桔速生密植园面积为0.8亩,种植244株,计亩栽300株,该园采用种前全园深翻改土,深度60厘米以下,于1992年3月1日定植,品种为枳砧碰柑。种后经一年多的培育,1983年11月11日采果验收产量,实收柑桔果实955.7斤,折亩产为1194.6斤,全园平均株产4斤左右,结果树平均株产5.8斤,其中单株产量最高达15.3斤,株产15斤以上的树有4株,株产10～15斤的树有28株。
