杂交亲合力鉴定表明:光壳稻及爪哇型(javanica)其亲缘关系接近粳稻,二者皆无在釉、粳之外独立为一个亚种的必要,它们可定为粳亚种内的两个地理生态群。亲合力试验还表明:云南光壳稻与东南亚,南亚及美洲光壳稻均属同一类型,它和爪哇型的亲缘关系也似比普通粳稻为接近。此外,光壳稻与爪哇型中都存在些与釉、粳亲合力好的品种,这是研究亚洲栽培稻的起源与演化以及釉、粳杂交育种上极好的材料、值得重视。
The identification of hybrid affinities showed that the genetic relationship between Husk rice and Javanica was close to that of Japonica rice. Neither of them was necessary as a subspecies independently of glaze or japonica. They could be identified as two Geographical ecological group. Affinity experiments also showed that the light-shelled rice in Yunnan Province was the same type as the light-shelled rice in Southeast Asia, South Asia and the Americas, and its genetic relationship with Java-type was also similar to that of common japonica rice. In addition, there are some varieties with good enamel and japonica compatibility both in photoperiod and Javanese, which are very important materials to study the origin and evolution of Asian cultivated rice and the crossbreeding of glaze and japonica.
