中华Ⅰ号全身X-CT是在国家计委、国家医药管理局和上海市政府的直接关心和指导下,由上海医疗器械厂等九个主攻单位及44个配套单位团结协作,联合攻关而试制成功的。1990年12月25日在国家医药管理局的主持下,通过了国家级鉴定。该机由计算机、陈列机(包括电源分配器)、高频高压发生器、多幅照相机、左机座、扫描机架、检测系统(包括数据采集系统和氙气电离室)、扫描驱动装置、右机座、诊视床、控制台及软盘驱动器及软件组成,其部件国产化率达77.6％。该机经中国上海医疗器械检测中心进行
