近几年,我在中央戏剧学院公演的《马克白斯》、《天国春秋》、《安娣》等三部中外戏剧名著中扮演主要角色。如果说还有所收获的话,应当感谢学院对我的培育,感谢首都戏剧舞台所给予我的营养和熏陶。近几年,我们经常议论表演的魅力问题。我记得美国的理查德·波列斯拉夫斯基说过,一个演员每创造一个角色,都“要独一无二的”(《演技六讲》)。我国传统艺术美学思想中的“语不惊人死不休”,也正表达了类似的追求。我想,正是这种崇高的艺术追求,使一些伟大的表演艺术家们焕发无穷的魅力。这种艺术魅力绝不是那种平庸的表演所能达到的。这是演员在剧本和导演的制约之下,以生活为素材,以自己的心血酿就而成的。
In recent years, I have played a major role in three masterpieces of Chinese and foreign drama such as “Macbeth”, “Spring and Autumn Annals of Heaven” and “An Di” staged by the Central Academy of Drama. In recent years, we often talk about the charm of performances. I remember Richard Porleslaws of the United States saying that an actor is “unique” (“acting six”) for every role he creates. The “language is not astonishingly endless” in the traditional art aesthetics of our country also expresses a similar pursuit. I think it is this lofty pursuit of the arts, some of the great performing artists glow endless charm. This artistic charm is by no means the kind of mediocre performance can achieve. This is the actor in the script and director under the constraints of living as a material, with his own heart brewed.
