1 In a generally decaying era, it is a very interesting thing to review Wang Yangming. When Wang Yangming was initially on the road, he relied on Zhu Xi, who became the main body of government in the Ming Dynasty. From his chronic illness recorded in Zhu’s Gehua Law, we can find that his later criticisms of Zhu and Cheng and Cheng were not groundless, but reflected introspectively. He pushed Confucianism to a whole new level. Especially after the late Ming Dynasty, Yangming’s study infiltrated into Japan and South Korea and promoted the revolutionary movement of current politics, making Yangming’s study of mind into later Confucianism in East Asia
