Collective status is the inevitable social role of every member of society. The recognition or exclusion of a certain collective identity is the result of choice. In an increasingly pluralistic modern society, the status of collective identity has a direct impact on the success and failure of social integration. For regional members of the international community, national identity and transnational social community identity are the most important collective identities. There is a complex and delicate relationship between these two collective identities and have a significant impact on the regional situation and on the global international relations. The building of the East Asian Community has a broad and deep foundation of identity. However, this identity also faces enormous challenges with the risk of degeneration. Under the current increasingly complicated and grim international situation, the process of East Asian integration can be gradually promoted in a multi-track, multi-line, multi-level and multi-field manner with small promotion of major development and promotion of official promotion. Among them, it is most crucial to cultivate the collective identity of East Asian countries and their nationals and build an East Asian social community.
