Workers’ strike is the norm in foreign countries. The strike led by a trade union organization has become a legitimate channel for workers to safeguard their legitimate rights and interests. In 2010, the strike wave of workers in the international community came one after another, especially in Europe. First Greece, to oppose the Greek government tightening policy, the Greek workers organized a nationwide strike; followed by France, to protest the French government to extend the retirement age of workers, French workers continued strike. In China, there have also been some waves. For example, there have been a number of worker strikes in the Toyota China factory. However, unfortunately, we did not find the uniformed figure in similar incidents. While overseas unions guide workers through strikes and other means to safeguard their own legitimate rights and interests, our unions are only satisfied with organizing one or two games. The gap between these two countries is lamentable. China’s trade union system needs no change, what should be changed? Some people think that the atypical trade unions in China can contribute to economic development, while more voices think that the system of trade unions in China has become seriously outdated and in urgent need of reform. Here, we have selected some of the points of view to explore.
