提出一种利用核基因雄性不育的新的水稻育种方法,以利用不同的育种材料并增进其遗传重组。常规育种方法的局限性及其改良采用常规的水稻育种方法(图1),需要从材料(M)群体中获得基础(F)群体用于选择。然后通过F群体的选择与自交获得目标(T)群体。F群体的遗传差异通常是由杂交创造的。T群体的纯合性则是通过自交以及遗传同质性的选择而获得的。常规育种方法具有如下的共同缺点 (1)对遗传资源的利用有限 (2)遗传重组的局限性 (3)难以进行连续改良
A new rice breeding method using nuclear gene male sterility was proposed to utilize different breeding materials and enhance its genetic recombination. Limitations and Improvements of Conventional Breeding Methods Using conventional rice breeding methods (Figure 1), a base (F) population from material (M) populations is needed for selection. Target (T) populations are then obtained by selection and selfing of the F population. The genetic differences in F populations are usually created by crossbreeding. The homozygosity of T population is obtained through the selection of selfed and genetic homogeneity. Conventional breeding methods have the following common shortcomings (1) Limited utilization of genetic resources (2) Limitation of genetic recombination (3) Continuous improvement is difficult
