On December 3, 2014, the U.S. defense system online version claimed that the U.S. Attorney General issued a “official use only” report that the Department of Defense has adopted the “Internet Communication Protocol Sixth Edition” (IPv6), lacks the clear planning and coordination capabilities needed to adopt IPv6; IPv6 adoption should be given priority given cybersecurity and support for future battle plans.
