On April 1, 2003, Leeds United Chairman and CEO Leedsdale held his last press conference at the club at Elland Road Stadium. He was threatened by huge debts and deaths over the course of a year in a numb voice: For more than a year, the club field has experienced a very difficult time. In order to avoid more suffering and to save my family, I decided to resign. One hundred years ago, football was needed for a field and a football; 100 years after playing football today needed a thunderstorm and a profitable economic report. As people jump from one level to another, people begin to discover the most commercialized day, not only for the player’s day, but also for being a soccer businessman on the edge of Eden and Purgatory. In 2003, there were four businessmen who used to be away from the moment, leaving only the “people do not know where to go, peach blossoms are still laughing,” the general laments.
