机械科技情报学会成立大会暨首届学术年会于87年4月13日至16日在成都温江县召开。100多名代表参加了会议,正式成立了中国机械工程学会机械科技情报学会。会上通过了学会工作条例,组成了以李永新为理事长共30名理事的首届理事会,同时设立了情报理论与方法、情报检索与服务、情报普及与教育、情报出版物、企业情报,情报翻译和文献资料管理等七个专业学组。还根据学会87～88年推荐选题范围进行了协调落实,
The Founding Conference of the Institute of Mechanical Science and Technology Information and the first academic conference were held in Wenjiang County, Chengdu from April 13th to April 16th, 87th. More than 100 representatives attended the meeting and formally established the Institute of Mechanical Science and Technology Information of China Mechanical Engineering Society. The meeting adopted the rules of the Society’s work and formed the first board of directors with Li Yongxin as the chairman of the Board of Directors. It also established information theory and methods, information retrieval and services, information dissemination and education, intelligence publications, and corporate intelligence. Seven professional teams such as translation and document data management. Also coordinated and implemented according to the recommended topics for the 87 to 88 years of the Academy.
