With the progress of leukemia treatment in children, the remission rate is getting higher and higher, and the remission time is getting longer. Therefore, the long-term consequences of treatment are becoming more and more obvious to people. From the current reports, after a series of years of chemotherapy and radiotherapy, most patients have no obvious adverse consequences. However, most anticancer drugs and radiation are harmful to the body after all, and they kill the leukemia cells more or less causing damage to normal tissues or organs. Some of these damages can last for many years or even become unresolved. For a health care professional, it is very important to understand these things and be aware of them throughout the entire treatment process. It is very important to prevent them as soon as possible without prejudice to remission.
