邓小平同志根据领导中国革命和建设的多年实践及对社会发展的科学分析,提出了“科学技术是第一生产力”这一重大科学命题,这是对马克思主义生产力理论的重大发展。 “科学技术是生产力”是马克思主义的一个基本观点。马克思一再说:“科学的力量也是不费资本家分文的另一种生产力。”“生产力中也包括科学。”“生产力里面当然包括科学在内”。但“生产力中也包括科学”的命题,对科技在生产力发展中的作用以及在生产力诸要素中的作用显然强调得还不够。 邓小平同志紧紧抓住“生产力是社会发展最终决定力量”这个根本原理,始终坚持把生产力放在首位,不仅在实践上高度重视科学技术、重视教育,并把知识分子看成是工人阶级的一部分,狠抓知识分子政策的落实,而且还在概括人类几千年的科技史,概括科学技术与生产发展的关系史基础上提出了“科学技术是第一生产力”的命题。这一命题深刻揭示了科学技术是最重要的生产力,是构成生产力诸要素中的最重要的要素,利学技术对生产力发展起着首要的决定的作用。
Based on years of practice of leading the Chinese revolution and construction and a scientific analysis of social development, Comrade Deng Xiaoping put forward the important scientific proposition that “science and technology are the primary productive forces” and this is a major development in the theory of Marxist productive forces. “Science and technology are productive forces” is a basic Marxist view. Marx repeatedly said: “The power of science is another productivity that does not cost capitalists.” “Productivity also includes science.” “Of course productivity includes science.” However, the proposition that “productivity also includes science” clearly underscores the role of science and technology in the development of productive forces and its role in the various elements of productive forces. Comrade Deng Xiaoping firmly grasped the fundamental principle that “productivity is the ultimate decisive force for social development” and always puts productivity first. He not only attaches great importance to science and technology in practice but also regards education as an integral part of the working class , Pay close attention to the implementation of the policy of intellectuals, but also summed up the human history of science and technology for thousands of years, summed up the history of science and technology and production based on the history of the proposed “science and technology are primary productive forces” proposition. This proposition profoundly reveals that science and technology are the most important productive forces and constitute the most important element of the various elements of productive forces. Benefit-based technologies play a primary role in determining the development of productive forces.
