In response to the social changes in Russia since the 1990s, many analyzes have been conducted by the academic circles from the perspectives of politics, economy and culture. Whether this transition can be studied as a revolution, that is to say, whether the transformation of Russia can be called a revolution, there are many controversies. Because the transformation of Russia does not have the characteristics of the classic revolution, such as violence, the emergence of new ideologies. Some revolutionary theorists have redefined the revolution in the new era. Through the analysis of the occurrence and the process of the revolution and the concentration of power in the post-revolutionary period, it can be considered that this change in Russia can be attributed to the category of revolution.
