The development of modern Chinese painting discourse, to some extent reflects the concept of awareness of the academic school. On the one hand, it provided a rational framework and “metaphysical” theoretical system for the contemporary transformational structure of Chinese painting. On the other hand, it also resolved the “custom” that is not accepted by academic ideas in Chinese traditional painting. The reasons for the above state can be summed up as follows: The academic teaching and academic structure are basically structural systems based on modern western education, while Chinese and Western paintings are two very different coexistence peaks.
