From the beginning of the 20th century BC, the Valley of Kings in Cairo experienced thousands of years of amazing graves, which is rare in the entire world. However, the tomb of Tutankhamun was saved by a lucky coincidence. About 1140 BC, when the workers excavated the tomb of Ramses VI, they dumped the earth and stone they had dumped at the entrance of the tomb of Tutankhamun. Since then, the tomb of Tutankhamun has been forgotten. Until the early 20th century, the British painter Carter made a painstaking excavation of King Valley under the financial support of Earl Carnavon, to obtain the treasures in the tomb, which promoted the new development of Egyptology.
