晚清民国时期的教学改革,是在国家民族生存危亡的背景下实行的一次教育革新。它以儿童亲近的乡土内容为主,以激发学生的爱乡爱国思想为要义,内容涉及历史地理、风土人情、物产气候、实业状况等,开启了我国近代乡土教学的新模式。此外,教学内容还涉及了国外军事、经济入侵后,对当地民众生活及工商业发展所造成的影响,在宣扬爱乡爱国思想的同时,激发儿童的生存竞争、实业兴国意识。
The teaching reform in the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China was an educational reform implemented in the context of the survival and peril of the nation. It focuses on the local content of children’s closeness and inspires students’ love of patriotism. Its content involves historical geography, customs, property and climate, and industrial conditions, which opens up a new mode of modern native teaching in our country. In addition, the teaching content also covers the impact of foreign military and economic invasions on local people’s lives and the development of industry and commerce. While promoting the idea of loving the country and patriotism, it stimulates the survival and competition of children and the awareness of rejuvenating the country.
