To address this outstanding case, the main efforts thus far have been to increase the performance and equipment of the shorter-range guns aimed directly at firing enemy tanks. In addition, considerable efforts have been made on common guns and other missile systems such as Dragon, Milan, TOW, Swingfire and HOT.
