提出了一种基于偏振分离型滤波器结构的光纤激光陀螺,并分析了其双向的工作原理和产生频差的条件。其中的偏振分离型滤波器在双向滤波的同时还可用于调节两束激光的能量耦合强度。抽运激光的功率超过10mW阈值时,环形腔中可产生双向振荡的单纵模激光,其拍频频率可通过滤波器在50kHz~1.5MHz范围内连续地调节。在设定拍频频率为70kHz时对陀螺进行旋转测试,得到了拍频频率随陀螺转速呈线性变化的曲线。
A fiber laser gyro based on the polarization separation filter is proposed. The working principle and the condition of frequency offset are analyzed. The polarization separation filter can also be used to adjust the energy coupling strength of the two laser beams while bi-directional filtering. When pumping laser power exceeds the threshold of 10mW, a single-longitudinal mode laser capable of bidirectional oscillation is generated in the annular cavity, and its beat frequency can be continuously adjusted by the filter in the range of 50kHz~1.5MHz. When the beat frequency is set to 70kHz, the gyroscope is tested for rotation, and the curve that the beat frequency changes linearly with the gyroscope speed is obtained.
