OBJECTIVE: Antimicrobial peptide molecules play an important antimicrobial activity in the innate immune system of invertebrates. In order to continuously improve the antimicrobial mechanism of the innate immune system of invertebrates, the authors took the shrimp extract gene of Litopenaeus vannamei as the research object, Biology research. Methods: The gene prawnin-penaeidin 4 (Lva-pen 4) of Litopenaeus vannamei was selected as the research object, mainly including gene cloning, amino acid sequence alignment, phylogenetic analysis and molecular structure prediction content. RESULTS: The full-length cDNA of Lva-pen 4 was 624 bp in length and contained 204 bp in open reading frame (ORF), deducing 67 amino acid residues. In the amino acid sequence of Lva-pen 4, there was a prawn-like domain, including 8 Conserved cysteine residues and 6 proline residues. Conclusion: According to the molecular structure analysis, it is speculated that Lva-pen 4 is an important immune response-related gene and plays an important role in the innate immune system.
