药物耐药菌由于抗生素的滥用造成耐药菌增加,导致疗效显著下降.分析1951年至1967年的17年间日本主要生产的链霉素、四环素、氯霉素,从当时由患者分离的痢疾杆菌来看,对这些抗生素至少有一种以上出现耐药菌株.证实从1956年起随着抗生素用量的增加耐药菌急剧上升.结核杆菌的耐药性比痢疾杆菌更为严重,1972年调查说明约8%的患者在治疗前已感染链霉素耐药菌.统计资料提示
