“教育”一词是现代教育领域中使用最为广泛的关键概念,但对它的解释众说纷云,莫衷一是,在一定程度上误导着教育实践,所以很有必要对其进行词源学的考证,只有这样才能对教育有一个更明晰的理解并指导实践。本文重点以“教育”的汉语词源学分析为重点,追其源、溯其始,然后再辅以“教育”的英语词源分析,并作简略的中西比较,从而进一步探讨出中西在教育理念、方式、方法等方面存在的根本性差异。
