教育工作本身基本上是屬於思想領域的工作,而且是一種有目的、有計劃、有組織、有領導的思想工作。在階級社會裏,教育目的、任務和內容,就必然受統治階級的思想體系所支配。在新中國居於統治地位的是廣大勞動人民,其中又以工人階級爲領導,當然工人階級及其政黨的思想體系,也就是新中國的領導思想。因此,我國當前教育的思想政治方向和思想內容也只能是共産主義的思想體系,而不可能是其他。我們要求每個人民教師必須成爲馬克思主義者,要求培養年青一代成爲自覺的忠於黨、忠於人民、忠於祖國、忠於共産主義事業的全面發展的成員;我們要在學校裏徹底批判資產階級的思想影響,肅清三敵的思想殘餘,並樹立無產階級思想的堅強的領導地位,其道理就在於此。 這樣是否與社會存在決定社會意識的馬克思主義原理矛盾了呢?不是的。
