1988年在咸阳国际机场建设中,陕西考古工作者发掘唐舒国公夫人贺若氏墓葬时,于墓主头颈部附近发现了1枚东罗马金币,直径20毫米,重4.1克(见图)。金币上有两个穿孔,据出土位置推测,疑作项饰之用。金币正面为东罗马皇帝半身头像,戴盔,盔顶有羽饰,两侧垂珠;右手持标枪斜扛于肩,左手持盾牌;着交领外衣并饰联珠纹。铭文自右向左顺时针排列,字母为“DNIVSTINVSPPAVG”。背面为双翼胜利女神,右手持长柄十字架,左手托球,球上有一小十字架。
