The E-8C is an advanced tactical aircraft carrying a remote (about 200-250 nm) SAR / MTI radar, designed to detect and track ground-moving vehicles and rotating radar antennas. The system worked well in the search for mobile ballistic missiles and air defense missiles entitled “Green Flag” in 1998.
