探讨了将连续铸造铝合金AFC12和粉末挤压铝合金AFP10、AFP20用作高性能锻造铝合金活塞的坯料。研究了它们在室温至623K(与活塞实际工作温度范围相当)的机械性能,并与传统铸造活塞铝合金JIS AC8A进行了对比。测定了在活塞锻造条件下成形后的机械性能。即使加热到很高温度保温后AFP10、AFP20的室温硬度几乎不变。在所测试的全部温度区域内AFP20具有比AC8A高的抗拉强度、屈服极限和疲劳强度,而在低于423K温度下AFC12的这些机械性能都比AC8A高。可以得出结论,AFC12和AFP20锻造活塞可望提高低温区和全部工作温度范围内活塞的机械性能。
The continuous casting aluminum alloy AFC12 and powder extruded aluminum alloy AFP10 and AFP20 were discussed as blanks for high performance forged aluminum alloy pistons. Their mechanical properties were studied at room temperature to 623K (comparable to the actual piston operating temperature range) and compared with the conventional cast aluminum ACI JIS AC8A. The mechanical properties after forming were measured under piston forging conditions. Even if heated to a very high temperature AFP10, AFP20 room temperature hardness almost unchanged. AFP20 has higher tensile strength, yield strength and fatigue strength than AC8A over the entire temperature range tested, while these AFC 12’s mechanical properties are higher than AC8A at temperatures below 423K. It can be concluded that the AFC12 and AFP20 forged pistons are expected to improve the mechanical properties of the piston in both the low temperature range and the full operating temperature range.
