泗优422用泗稻8号A与轮回422配组育成.母本泗稻8号A为BT型细胞质的矮秆中粳不育系,不育性稳定,开花习性好.父本轮回422是一个具广亲和的中粳恢复系,株型紧凑,禾下穗,穗型大,粒型偏长,米质优,恢复力强,花粉量足,中抗白叶枯病和稻瘟病.1991～1992年参加省杂交晚粳区试,平均亩产611.12kg,比对照武育粳2号(CK_1)和秀水04(CK_2)分别增产9.6%和8.2%.在南方稻区杂粳区试中,平均亩产534.0kg,比秀水04增产12.3%.1992年省杂粳生产试验,平均亩产525.57kg,比CK_1和CK_2分别增产11.6%和17.9%.最高亩产达691.25kg.株高105cm左右,株型前期松散,中后期紧凑,分蘖力中等,禾下穗,顶芒,粒型偏长,平均每穗180粒左右,结实率80%以上,米质优,食味好,抗白叶枯病,中抗稻瘟病.全生育期155～160天,宜在5月中旬播种,10月下旬成熟.大田亩用种1.5kg,要求亩栽2万穴,8～10万基本苗,确保18～20万有效穗.秧田应抓好壮秧促蘖措施.大田前期适量施肥,后期看苗补肥,大田亩施纯氮15～20kg.断水宜在收前10天左右.适宜于太湖地区作单季晚稻种植,南方稻区的合肥、上海和武汉等地也可作单季稻引种.泗优422繁殖、制种容易,产量较高,种子纯度较有保证.
