最新人口普查资料表明:中国女性在业人口达到29110万人,占全国在业人口的44.89％,比1982年提高了1.28％。 目前城市成年女性平均上学年数是9.97年,其中高中及以上者占56.35％,初中33.25％,小学为8.33％。文盲半文盲仅占2.07％。而其母亲一代高中及以上者仅9.07％,初中11.09％,小学24.51％,文盲半文盲比例为55.35％。 农村成年女性目前文化程度达到高中以上者为8.91％,初中26.62％,小学27.91％,文盲半文盲为36.58％。而其母亲一代高中以上者仅占0.48％,初中1.92％,小学8.99％,文盲半文盲高达88.64％。
According to the latest census data, the number of employed women in China reached 291.1 million, accounting for 44.89% of the total workforce in the country, an increase of 1.28% over 1982. At present, the average number of years of schooling of urban adult women is 9.77 years, of which 56.35% are from high school and above, 33.25% are from middle school and 8.33% from primary schools. Illiteracy and semi-literacy account for only 2.07%. While only 9.07% of the mothers of high school and above, 11.09% of junior middle school, 24.51% of primary schools and 55.35% of illiterate and semi-literate. Rural adult women currently have 8.91% of students with high school education, 26.62% of junior high schools, 27.91% of primary schools and 36.58% of illiterate and semi-literate adults. However, only 0.48% of their mothers were high school, 1.92% of junior high, 8.99% of primary, and 88.64% of illiterate and semi-literate.
