My hometown is located in Jiaodong Peninsula. Before the War of Resistance Against Japan, here is the area under the rule of Han Fu Tuan. After being occupied by Japanese and puppet troops in 1937, the Japanese and puppet troops set a stronghold in the area six miles away from my village and frequently went to the countryside to raid and seize grain for income. As early as 1937, the Communist Party of China set up a regional party committee in the eastern part of Laiyang and set up four prefectural committees. The village where I am located is in the fifth district, where the district party committee, district government and district squadron (then the anti-Japanese armed forces) led the hostile struggle against Japan’s ruling zone. To the west, the Eighth Route Army was established in Shandong North Sea Naval Region
