一、基本情况乌鲁木齐市郊区主要菜窖中,以马铃薯、大白菜、洋葱和胡罗卜的贮藏量最多,但在贮藏期间由于受各种病害,引起严重的损失.从我们近两年来的调查,1956年冬,十七户菜窖贮藏120,000公斤胡罗卜,至1957年春就腐烂50%以上;蔬菜公司在十七户、六道湾和碾子沟的四个菜窖中,共贮藏马铃薯280,000公斤,因病腐烂的达50,000公斤.1957年冬,六道弯蔬菜公司贮藏大白菜8,000棵,估计共20多万公斤,在第一次(11月份)翻整时约有1/4以上发生腐烂;碾子沟蔬菜公司所贮藏的140,000公斤胡罗卜,在1958年2月12日的一次翻整中,腐烂达5,000—6,000公斤左右.六道湾蔬菜公司1957年冬共贮藏洋葱63,288公斤,到1958年4月腐烂了37,217
