纸张表面处理是造纸技术中的关键环节,它可以提高最终产品的质量。对于未经涂布的印刷书写纸而言,一般通过表面施胶来控制纸张的表面性能以及液体的扩散和吸收。文中通过分析不同表面施胶配方对纸样表面特性和最终印刷质量的影响,探讨了表面施胶对纸张表面化学性能的影响。实验中将阳离子淀粉与4种不同类型的苯乙烯共聚物以不同比例(5%、10%和20%,质量分数)混合得到12种复合物进行表面施胶。将仅用阳离子淀粉施胶的纸张作为参照样。用接触角测量法和反相气相色谱法测量了纸张表面的化学性能,并评价了纸张的喷墨印刷性能。结果表明,实验中用到的表面施胶处理对纸张表面张力有显著影响,在一定程度上解释了喷墨印刷质量检测中的差异。
Paper surface treatment is the key link in papermaking technology, which can improve the quality of the final product. For uncoated printed writing paper, the surface properties of the paper and the diffusion and absorption of the liquid are generally controlled by surface sizing. In this paper, the effects of surface sizing on the surface chemical properties of paper were discussed by analyzing the influence of different surface sizing formulations on the surface properties of paper and the final printing quality. In the experiment, 12 kinds of composites were prepared by surface sizing with different proportions (5%, 10% and 20%, mass fraction) of cationic starch and four different types of styrene copolymer. Paper with cationic starch sizing was used as a reference only. The chemical properties of the paper surface were measured by contact angle measurement and reversed-phase gas chromatography, and the ink-jet printing properties of the paper were evaluated. The results show that the surface sizing treatment used in the experiment has a significant effect on the paper surface tension, to a certain extent, explain the differences in the quality of ink-jet printing inspection.
