位于北京东郊大山子的798艺术区,是北京现代艺术文化的一个集散地。曾被美国《时代周刊》评为最有文化标志性的京城艺术地标,在这里,中国现代艺术最新的潮流和时尚,都能够得到最集中的体现。2007年1月5日晚上8点15分,一座具有798艺术区典型风格的厂房被拾掇一新,门前聚集着400多位来自国内“京上广深”四中心城市以及香港、东京.纽约的艺术家、音乐家、时尚设计师、电影人、娱乐人以及“骨灰级”的全球波鞋收藏者,他们顶着初冬北京颇为凌虐的寒意,见证了一场大幕的拉开。
The 798 Art District, located in Dashanzi, the eastern suburbs of Beijing, is a hub for Beijing’s contemporary art and culture. Once named as the most iconic landmark of the capital city by the US magazine Time, the latest trend and fashion of modern Chinese art can be most concentrated. At 8:15 p.m. on January 5, 2007, a factory with a typical style of 798 art district was picked up. In front of it, there were gathered more than 400 art galleries from the four central cities of Beijing, Guangzhou, Guangzhou and Hong Kong, Tokyo New York artists, musicians, fashion designers, moviegoers, entertainers, and “Ashes” global wave collectors, facing the rather abusive chill of early winter in Beijing, witnessed a big pull open.
