Tolkien. In the story, the Evil God Morgoth cursed Húrin's family so that Turín and his sister were doomed from birth. Even though Túrin tried his best to fight against the curse, he could not escape his predestined fate. Classified as a modern fantasy, The Children of Húrin is similar to the Greek tragedy. he hero of the story, Túrin, has the characteristics of a Greek tragedy hero. He is of noble birth, strong ability, and at the same time, his fate is rough. The plot of the story is characteristic of a Greek tragedy as well, which is in line with the elements of “reversal”, “discovery” and “suffering” in Poetics.
