榕江县位于黔东南州南部,总面积3232平方公里,地势自西北向东南倾斜,最高点高岳山南峰(1705米),最低点八吉乡河滩(217.5米)。森林资源丰富,是我省十个林业县之一,活立木蓄积量达953万立方米。全县气侯温暖湿润,年平均气温18℃,年平均降雨量1351毫米,无霜期264～310天。这些条件为大型真菌的生长提供了良好的生态环境。作者于1986年
Rongjiang County is located in the southern part of Qiandongnan Prefecture, with a total area of 3232 square kilometers. The terrain slopes from northwest to southeast. The highest point is Gaoyue Mountain Nanfeng (1705 meters) and the lowest point is Qiji Xianghe Beach (217.5 meters). Forest rich in resources, is one of the ten forestry counties in our province, live stock volume of 9.53 million cubic meters. County climate warm and humid, the annual average temperature of 18 ℃, the average annual rainfall of 1351 mm, frost-free period of 264 to 310 days. These conditions provide a good ecological environment for the growth of large fungi. Author in 1986
