From August 1984 to January 1985, a mini-polio outbreak was reported in Finland. Nine patients with paralysis were all caused by poliovirus type III, and 100 of 700 healthy human stool samples were isolated from type III virus. Finland vaccinated against deadly vaccination to prevent polio, vaccination rate of 97% or more. The last patient before the outbreak occurred in 1961, and poliovirus has never been isolated from the population since 1964. The reasons for the onset of polio outbreaks in populations doing such a good job in vaccination are worth studying. Seven viruses isolated from stool specimens from paralyzed patients and three viruses isolated from stool from healthy contacts
