基于0.35μm二层多晶硅四层金属(2P4M)3.3 V/5 V双电源电压CMOS混合信号工艺,设计了能应用到投影显示的一种分辨率为800×600硅基液晶(LCoS)微显示驱动电路芯片。整个驱动电路采用奇偶列的驱动方案,并且每一列都集成了一个数字模拟转换器(DAC)。为了减少亮度的损失,采用场序彩色法实现彩色显示。像素单元的面积为15μm×15μm,整个芯片的面积大小为14.7 mm×11.4 mm。测试结果表明该芯片在帧频为60 Hz时能正常工作并且能实现256阶灰度的彩色显示。在3.3 V/5 V的双电源电压供电下,整个芯片的功耗大约为100 mW。
Based on a 0.35μm 2-layer polysilicon 4-layer metal (2P4M) 3.3V / 5V CMOS dual-supply voltage mixed signal process, a micro-display driver with resolution of 800 × 600 for liquid crystal display (LCoS) Circuit chip. The entire drive circuit uses an even and odd column drive scheme, and each column integrates a digital-to-analog converter (DAC). In order to reduce the loss of brightness, using color sequence method to achieve color display. The area of the pixel unit is 15 μm × 15 μm, and the area of the entire chip is 14.7 mm × 11.4 mm. The test results show that the chip can work normally at a frame frequency of 60 Hz and can achieve 256-level grayscale color display. At a dual supply voltage of 3.3 V / 5 V, the entire chip consumes about 100 mW of power.
