江南许多城市都有湖心亭,湖心亭往往不是茶馆就是饭店,熙熙攘攘无非都是一般光景。城隍庙的“湖心亭”也在湖心,也是茶馆。或许,唯一的不同,只不过是这栋建筑每个不经意的狭仄缝隙里都攒下了一辈又一辈老上海的情怀。城隍庙的九曲桥,热闹非凡,外地的旅游团,集体出游的学生,半大不大的情侣……九曲桥一头连着“豫园”(当年小刀会在这里非法集会过),一头连着“湖心亭”茶馆。豫园门口人流最密,故而陡然进入湖心亭,还会不相信城隍庙居然有这么安静的地方。
