1996年10月,湖州市教委的同志对我说,道场乡成校的女校长潘水英是全区顶尖的好校长。1979年至1996年,她先后被评为区级先进8次、市级先进5次,1992年荣获“春蚕奖”,1995年被评为城区“好校长”,1996年荣获省“巾帼扫盲奖”。她负责的道场乡成校在目标管理上被湖州市连续4年评为一等奖,1995～1996年连续两年岗位目标考核都是一等奖。当我见到这位个子不高、50开外的女校长时,她紧蹙着眉头说:
