随着大学英语教学改革的深入,大学英语教学模式正由传统的“以教师为中心”转变为“以学生为中心”。在这一转变过程中,教师和学生的角色定位与各自的作用也发生着相应的变化。在这种新形势下,对学生的自主学习的培养就成为改革能否成功的关键所在。这就要求大学英语教师要立足于自身的教学实践,从英语的听、说、读、写切入,探索英语自主学习的方法,其目的在于更好地帮助学生增强自主学习的乐趣,使英语教学新模式下学生自主学习这一既定目标得以实现。
