2014年2月4日,是第14届世界癌症日。该活动由国际抗癌联盟(UICC)于2000年发起,旨在加快癌症研究、治疗及预防等领域的进展,为人类造福。本文作者是煤炭总医院耳鼻喉科主任医师,他以自身的长期临床实践告知读者,鼻咽癌防治的基本知识。癌症是目前全人类的第一位死因。2013年初,全国肿瘤登记中心发布的《2012中国肿瘤登记年报》指出,我国每年新发癌症病例约350万,因癌症死亡约250万,每7~8人中就有1人死于癌症,我国居民一生罹患癌症的概率约为22%。其中,鼻咽癌在我国头颈部恶性肿瘤发病率中居首位,被原卫生部颁布的《中国癌症预防与控制规划纲要》列入8种重点防治的癌症之一。
February 4, 2014 is the 14th World Cancer Day. Launched in 2000 by the International Union Against Cancer (UICC), the event aims to accelerate progress in areas such as cancer research, treatment and prevention for the benefit of mankind. The author is the chief physician of otolaryngology at General Hospital of Coal, who tells readers the basic knowledge of prevention and treatment of nasopharyngeal carcinoma with his own long-term clinical practice. Cancer is the first cause of death in all mankind. In early 2013, the National Cancer Register 2012 Annual Report pointed out that there are about 3.5 million new cases of cancer each year in our country, about 2.5 million people died of cancer, and one out of every 7 to 8 people died of cancer. Our country Residents have a lifetime risk of cancer is about 22%. Among them, nasopharyngeal carcinoma ranks the first place in the incidence of head and neck malignant tumors in our country. It was included in one of the 8 kinds of key prevention and treatment cancers listed in the “Outline of China’s Cancer Prevention and Control Plan” promulgated by the former Ministry of Health.
