对于视频监控应用来说,存储时长和容量成本一直是方案设计时需要反复权衡的关键矛盾之一。当大规模联网模式和集中存储方案开始推广后,网络带宽的瓶颈也逐步浮现,尤其是超高清应用的普及,更凸显了这些问题,提高压缩性能的需求日益迫切。与H.264/AVC相比,H.265/HEVC的最大本领是可以在维持画质基本不变的前提下,让数据传输带宽缩减至H.264/AVC的一半,同时其还支持最高为7680×4320的分辨率。因此不管是以后的4K或者是更高级别的超高清视频,我们同样可以通过H.265/HEVC格式进行编码。
For video surveillance applications, storage time and cost of capacity has always been one of the key contradictions that require repeated trade-offs when designing a solution. When the large-scale networking mode and centralized storage solutions are beginning to be popularized, the bottleneck of network bandwidth gradually emerges, especially the popularization of ultra-high-definition applications. These problems are highlighted and the demand for improving the compression performance is increasingly urgent. Compared with H.264 / AVC, H.265 / HEVC’s greatest ability is to maintain the basic image quality unchanged, the data transmission bandwidth reduced to half of H.264 / AVC, while it also supports up to 7680 × 4320 resolution. So whether in the future 4K or higher ultra-high definition video, we can also encode in H.265 / HEVC format.
