《简·爱》是夏洛蒂.勃朗特的经典传世之作,成功地塑造了英国文学史中第一个对爱情、生活、社会以及宗教都采取了积极进取态度和敢于争取平等自由的女性形象,主人公简.爱对爱的追求与自我成长过程实际上就是她的超验主义思想实践的过程。文章从“超验主义”这一视角来对《简.爱》进行解读,并从作者的生活经历探索作者本人的超验主义倾向。
