In 1988, the trade volume and trade volume of aquatic products in the international market both increased. Among the developed countries, Japan and the United States are the major importers of fish and their import trade accounts for almost half of the world’s import trade. The European Community’s net imports of aquatic products are more imported from third countries due to the reduction of fishing quotas in the waters of their member countries. Developing countries will play a leading role in supplying aquatic products to the European Economic Community.
